Helping people achieve prosperity is the goal of any investment advisor. For Paige Grant, to get there requires a slightly different approach.

“Our focus is to have people feel excited about their money rather then be stressed out or confused,” says the senior partner at Grant Financial.

Helping clients understand the importance of money and how it can work for them is a service that Paige has only lately embraced. Born in Thunder Bay, she moved out west with her family in search of a better life.

Along the way, Paige became a certified personal trainer but moved into the financial world when she realized many people don’t know about money and how it could work for them.

“It was destroying families,” she says of this lack of basic knowledge. “I wanted to be a part of the solution and coach others like I was coached on how money works.”

When an opportunity to return to the Lakehead arose, she embraced the chance to establish a World Financial Group office. WFG is a U.S.-based marketing company that sells different products through a network of distributors. Their services include debt restructuring, mortgages, investments, home and auto insurance, and estate planning.

“Basically anything financial,” says Paige, who works with two dozen advisors. “We have access to companies that typically middle income families wouldn’t have access to otherwise. We are changing the game for generations to come.”
