NOMINATIONS & VOTING PROCESS:

Runs from April 15 to June 16, 2024

Nominations & voting are now underway! Let your favourite Thunder Bay businesses, people and places know how much you appreciate them with a nomination, then come back to cast your vote daily!

To vote, you will be asked to create a Login. After you are logged in, you can vote for all your favourites once daily until contest ends June 16th.

New this year, to ensure the community has the opportunity to actively participate in shaping the results, we are accepting new nominations and daily votes throughout the contest run. There will not be a separate nomination and voting process. 

If you do not see your favourite(s) listed, honour them with your nomination. There is an entry box at the end of each sub-category where you can enter their name. Once submitted, there may be a slight delay while our system is updated with the new nomination.

Then remember to come back and vote once daily per sub-category until June 16th.

Take the time to scroll through all 12 categories and their sub-categories. You may find many more you wish to give your vote!

This year's contest promises to be a celebration of community spirit showcasing the outstanding contributions that make Thunder Bay the vibrant and unique place it is.

Contest Close - Winners Announcement

We will announce the Top 3 Finalists who received the most votes in each sub-category and celebrate the Winners in a special 2024 Readers' Choice Award Winners publication that will be distributed inside The Chronicle-Journal on Saturday, July 28th. A digital version of the magazine will be available on our website www.chroniclejournal.com at the same time.

Alternate Voting Method - Print Ballot

Complete the paper ballot located inside the print edition of The Chronicle-Journal and drop it off or mail it to:  The Chronicle-Journal, 75 S. Cumberland Street, Thunder Bay, ON. P7B 1A3, Attention:  Readers' Choice Awards, to be received by 5PM June 16th, 2024.

Contest - Chance to Win $250!

Simply by registering an account and voting for your favourites online - or filling out and submitting a print ballot  - you will be automatically entered into a draw for a chance to win a $250 cash prize contest end! The winner will be contacted by The Chronicle-Journal in the first week of June, and their name will be published in our 2024 Readers'' Choice Awards Winners magazine.
